Customs Service revenues amounted to over 583 million lei last week

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/- Customs Service revenues to the state budget amounted on November 8-14 to over 583 million lei, more by 6.7% compared to the budgetary burden established for this interval. Also, since the beginning of this month, the Customs Service has collected almost 1.2 billion lei from the state budget, with a 45.7% increase compared to the revenues from the same period of 2020.
During the last week, 12,541 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport constituted 51,661 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 12,192 and 9,846 crossings, respectively.
"In the fight against fraud, during the period covered, 253 violations of customs legislation were found and fines amounting to approximately 155 thousand lei were applied. The most frequent violations refer to the exceeding of the term of being on the territory of the Republic of Moldova of the means of transport with foreign numbers, declared by action ”, the Customs Service said.
During the period, the officers of the Information Line received 512 requests for information related to the customs activity.
