Buiucani Praetor's Office signs cooperation agreement with Resita municipality

Chisinau, 9 Dec. / MOLDPRES /-Buiucani Praetor's Office and Reșița city hall (Romania) have signed an agreement to strengthen relations of collaboration, friendship and development in various sectors.

The document was signed by Vadim Brînzaniuc, Buiucani Praetor and Ion Popa, Reșița mayor.

The agreement provides for the promotion of cooperation relations in local public administration, education and research, medicine, environment, culture and sports, as well as other areas of cooperation of mutual interest.

Among the priorities set out in the Agreement are the support of initiatives aimed at strengthening the economic relations between businessmen and structural entities in the sphere of trade of the two cities, as well as facilitating the exchange of experience and good practices between groups of civil servants, mayors, councilors and the specialized staff from the two town halls.

At the same time, Popa said the signing of the document also tries to bring students from the Republic of Moldova to the university in Resita. "There were years when I had 200 students from Chisinau to study in Resita. We are trying to exchange experience, including between universities, we have scheduled meetings on this topic at four colleges and high schools in Chisinau, just to present the educational offer of Resita ", said Popa.

The Romanian delegation includes representatives of the Babeș Bolyai University Center, Traian Lalescu National College and of the Technological High School from Reșița.

Resita delegation will be present in Chisinau until 10 December.
