Moldovan soldiers attending KFOR decorated

Chisinau, Dec. 13 / MOLDPRES /- Moldovan and Italian troops on KFOR peacekeeping mission in Kosovo were awarded Medal for peacekeeping mission in the Balkans in recognition of their commitment to the operation.
The medals were handed by Andrea Bertazzo, Superior of the Western Regional Command, who expressed appreciation for the professionalism shown by the Moldovan and Italian military for six months in office.
The fifteenth contingent of the National Army, deployed in the KFOR operation led by the North Atlantic Alliance, will return to the Republic of Moldova in January 2022.
