Moldovan composer edits collection of songs for piano

Chisinau, 3 January /MOLDPRES/ - The re-editing and printing of a collection of songs for piano titled, Visul stelelor (The Dream of Stars), with the Culture Ministry’s contribution, has been one of the most important achievements of composer and musicologist Vlad Mircos in 2021.    

Contacted by MOLDPRES, Vlad Mircos said the volume included 20 songs, besides the preface signed by poetess Galina Furdui, musicological study written by composer Adrian Beldiman, opinions and reflections of distinct personalities from the art sector of Moldova and from abroad. The collection has 112 pages and appeared within the programme on editing national books. The composer hopes that those 150 copies of the work will reach artistic education all over Moldova, becoming accessible to teachers, pupils and students.      

Vlad Mircos hopes, just as the entire society, that the pandemic will end in 2022, so that he can return to normal activities, just as before. In terms of professional work, the composer wants also to carry through several musical projects, hoping that he will have more other interesting cooperation this year.
