Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets Romanian European MP

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu today had a meeting with Romanian European MP, Deputy Chairs of the Renew Europe group, European Parliament’s rapporteur for Moldova Dragos Tudorache, on the sidelines of the visit to Brussels, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
At the discussion, Deputy PM Nicu Popescu informed about the Moldovan authorities’ commitment to undertake new measures, including based on the Association Agenda 2021-2027, in order to make changes for the benefit of the entire society in the field of the renewable energy, digitalization, environment, justice, combating corruption, ensuring the rule of law state and a proper environment for investors.
„The priorities of our citizens remain the same as the commitments assumed through the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union, a document which – with the support of European institutions – will become the locomotive of our country’s internal transformation,’’ Minister Nicu Popescu said.
