Winter conditions on roads in Moldova

Chisinau, January 25 / MOLDPRES /-During the last night, the maintenance works of the national roads during the winter continued in the regions where interventions of the territorial units of Roads company were necessary.

According to the State Road Administration (ASD), 70 special machines and 99 road workers were involved in the technological process, which spread 893 tons of anti-skid material. "Currently, the accessibility of road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions on the entire national road network," says ASD.

The State Road Administration warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations on equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions.
