Winter conditions on roads in Moldova

Chisinau, January 26 / MOLDPRES /- Last night, the maintenance works of the national roads in the winter continued in the regions where the interventions of the territorial units of Roads company were necessary.

According to the State Road Administration (ASD), 141 machines and 178 road workers were involved in the technological process. 2454.5 tons of anti-skid material were sprinkled. "Currently, the accessibility of road infrastructure is ensured in winter conditions on the entire national road network," says ASD.

The State Road Administration warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulations on equipping vehicles with appropriate tires and adapting the speed regime to winter traffic conditions.
