Moldovan tax body collected 4 billion lei in January

Chisinau, 2 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- In January, the revenues to the National Public Budget administered by the State Tax Service (SFS) amounted to 4.0 billion lei, which is an increase of 532 million lei or 15.5% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Tax Service, in the first month of this year, over 1.7 billion lei were collected in the first month of this year, with about 186 million lei more compared to the same period of 2021, or an increase of 11.8%.

The local budgets recorded revenues amounting to 425.5 million lei, which is 65.0 million lei more than the same month last year or 18.0%.

Also, the state social insurance budget, in the mentioned period, received over 1.3 billion lei, which is 219.3 million lei more compared to the similar period of 2021, or an increase of 19.7%.

"At the same time, 448.0 million lei were accumulated at the Compulsory Health Insurance Funds, which is 61.8 million lei more than the same month last year or 16.0%", SFS said.
