Register of topo-geodesic works to be created in Moldova

Chisinau, 2 February /MOLDPRES/ - A state register of topo-geodesic works will be created in Moldova. The parliamentary commission for economy, budget and finances today approved a draft law to this effect.     

Thus, the amendments due to be made to the legislation see that the topo-geodesic works carried out by private people and legal entities will be recorded in the state register of topo-geodesic works. The registration will be made through the information system by local public authorities.

In case of impossibility, this right will be transmitted to the administrative authority in charge of the implementation of the policies in the sector of geodesy, map making and geo-informatics. The same authority will be in charge of the keeping of the state register of topo-geodesic works.   

Private people and legal entities will have access to space data from the state register of the topo-geodesic works through network services, in accordance with the law on the national infrastructure of space data.

The regulation on the keeping of the state register of topo-geodesic works, including the mechanism of registration and release of information from the register, will be approved by the government.

The document will be discussed in parliament’s plenum.
