Investments Agency of Moldova,Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency to strengthen cooperation relations

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu in Budapest has discussed with CEO of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) Róbert Ésik, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

The officials tackled opportunities of strengthening the cooperation relations in the field of investments’ promotion, taking over good practices and identifying ways of attraction and connection of potential investors in projects of mutual interest.

„We also spoke out for the turning to good account of the bilateral protocol of cooperation in the field of economic diplomacy, by exchanging experience in the field of attraction of investments in strategic economic projects, strengthening the cooperation between the Investments Agency of Moldova and HIPA,’’ Minister Nicu Popescu said.

Also, increased attention was paid to turning to account the financial instruments provided through Eximbank, in order to finance Moldovan-Hungarian economic projects.

Deputy PM Nicu Popescu pays a working visit to Budapest on 3-4 February.
