Moldovan deputy PM meets Ambassador of Ukraine

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today had a courtesy meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova Marko Shevchenko. The Ukrainian diplomat conveyed congratulations on Serebrian’s appointment as cabinet member in charge of the Transnistrian file, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The Moldovan official set forth Chisinau’s priority actions in the promotion of the country’s reintegration policies and in the formats of interaction on the Transnistrian settlement, calendar of activities scheduled, foremost subjects which need increased attention: human rights, free movement, farmers from the Dubasari district, education institutions, combating the pandemic risks, etc.

The sides reconfirmed the firm support for the mutual observance of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries, willingness to develop cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest and ensuring a reciprocally advantageous dialogue in the interests of both states.
