Electoral Continuing Education Center launched scholarship competition for young researchers

Chisinau, Feb. 7 / MOLDPRES /- Electoral Continuing Education  Center/ CICDE / has launched a scholarship competition for the development of individual research projects in the electoral sector.

Thus, five young people will receive a scholarship of 5,000 lei for the elaboration of research projects. Also, the coordinators of the research projects will be remunerated with a fee of 5000 lei.

Doina Bordeianu, the institution's director, said it was the fourth edition of this scholarship program for young people concerned with issues such as democracy, elections and electoral law. "The selected people will develop research projects between March and October 2022 and will present them publicly between November and December 2022. The studies will be published in a collection edited by CICDE," Bordeianu said.

According to the competition rules, the participants are to conceptualize the ideas in a material with electoral themes and to elaborate the research projects in a volume of 25-30 pages according to the rigors of CICDE. The topics will be proposed by the researchers together with their coordinators and approved by CICDE. In 2022, priority will be given to topics focused on electoral security issues and the participation of young people in electoral processes.
