Chişinău, 7 feb. /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall is giving up the 16 COVID-19 test tents installed in the city.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban said at online meeting of the municipal services that starting today the 16 tents installed by the City Hall in collaboration with the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations to test citizens at COVID-19, will be closed. "We had a good collaboration with the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. We find that the stabilization of the pandemic situation excludes the continuation of this project," the mayor said.

On January 24, the Chisinau City Hall, together with the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, set up 16 tents near the existing Family Physician Centers in the capital to test citizens at COVID-19. The measure was imposed to avoid congestion in polyclinics and increase the number of tests performed in the capital.
