Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration meets Ambassador of China

Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Moldova Yan Wenbin, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The officials discussed aspects on the bilateral relations and strengthening the Chinese-Moldovan cooperation in diverse fields of mutual interest, including the promotion of projects on social and economic development.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian made a short presentation of the present situation in the Transnistrian settlement process. He highlighted the Moldovan authorities’ full openness to identify viable solutions to the foremost problems of the citizens from both banks of Dniester and give a new dynamic within all the current formats of dialogue.

Ambassador Yan Wenbin thanked the deputy PM for dialogue. The Chinese diplomat expressed his country’s support for Moldova’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, within the borders recognized internationally.
