Moldovan MPs make amendments to Education Code

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s legislation will regulate the notion of bullying. The MPs approved a draft law to this effect today.

The Code Education will be completed with the notion of bullying, which implies a form of aggressiveness showed deliberately, repeatedly and through unbalance of power in the relations between children, pupils and students and which brings damage to human dignity. The phenomenon will be recognized as form of psychological violence, which results into a situation of intimidation.

At the same time, after the amendments enter into force, the competent authorities will elaborate the methodological norms for the law’s enforcement and will propose practices of prevention and combating of this phenomenon.
