Over 676 million lei collected by Customs Service last week

Chisinau, March 28 / MOLDPRES /- On March 21-27, the revenues of the Customs Service to the state budget amount to about 676.9 million lei, with over 23.7% more than the planned amount.

According to the SV, during the reference period, individuals introduced in the country goods whose customs value exceeds the non-taxable limit, being collected payments amounting to over 12.8 million lei, which represents 1.9% of the total amount collected for that period .

Also, since the beginning of this year, the Customs Service has collected over 6.6 billion lei from the state budget, being attested an increase of 23.6% compared to the receipts from the corresponding interval of last year. The money collected is paid directly into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development, social projects.

Also, on March 21-27, 10,264 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport constituted 189,447 crossings.
