Number of people suffering from COVID-19 decreased in Chisinau

Chisinau, March 28 / MOLDPRES /- 102 patients with the new coronavirus are currently hospitalized in in the capital.

The head of the Social Care and Health Department of the Chisinau Municipal Council, Boris Gîlcă, declared at today's online meeting of the municipal services that the number of patients confirmed with the SARS-CoV-2 virus hospitalized in the municipal institutions is continuously decreasing. "We have confirmed only 102 patients with coronavirus, three of whom are in intensive care. The statistics show a decrease in the number of diseases ", said Gîlcă.

The number of COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at home is also decreasing. "There are 866 patients undergoing treatment at home," Gîlcă said.

Asked to comment on the obligation to wear a sanitary mask, the official specified that wearing a sanitary mask is mandatory in public transport.
