Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - The political parties of Moldova are obliged to submit the annual reports on the financial management for 2021 till 31 March.

The central electoral authority (CEC) has informed that, in line with the provisions of the Law No 294/2007 on the political parties and of the regulation on financing the activity of political parties, approved under the CEC decision No 4401/2015, the political formations are obliged to submit the annual financial report to the Central Electoral Commission.

The reporting will be made both in electronic format, through the Financial Control Information Sub-system, and on paper, according to the models of documents established and approved to this end and will subsequently be made public on the Commission’s official webpage, www.cec.md.

CEC warns that the non-submission of the report on the financial management in the term and format set under the law, including the presentation on incomplete data, represents infringement of the legal provisions and is liable to contravention responsibility.
