Moldovan parliament made amendments to state reserves administration

Chisinau, 31 March /MOLDPRES/- MPs approved today a draft amending some laws on ensuring the unitary normative framework in state reserves and mobilization.

The document sets out amendmnets in several laws, such as the Law on requisitions of goods and services in the public interest, the Law on state of emergency, siege and war, Law on state secrecy, to bring them in line with the provisions of the Law on State Reserves and Mobilization.

Thus, a series of notions and terms that have lost their relevance have been revised, in particular the notion of state material reserves has been exposed in a new wording, by delimiting the state reserves and those of mobilization, according to their purpose and destination.

The new law also proposes a clear delineation of information in the field of state reserves and mobilization, which needs to be kept secret.

At the same time, it is proposed to include the decisions issued by the Material Reserves Agency in the list of executory documents, which will allow notifying the bailiffs and applying restrictions on assets and funds of economic operators who have admitted unauthorized consumption of state reserves and mobilization or stored assets in a smaller amount than established.
