Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with director general of United States International Development Finance Corporation

Chisinau, 20 April /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu, on a working visit to Washington, has had a meeting with Director General of the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Scott Nathan, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

At the meeting, Minister Nicu Popescu expressed Moldova’s interest in the financing by DFC of energy projects with the involvement of the public-private sector, transfer of know-how and development of initiatives in the fields of infrastructure, health and modern technologies.

„We want to strengthen the Moldovan-American dialogue on the investment dimension, in order to create new jobs in Moldova,’’ Deputy Pm Nicu Popescu said.
