Moldovan Health Ministry to weekly present information on epidemiological situation

Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Ministry will weekly present the information on the epidemiological situation.

According to the ministry, taking into account that the emergency state in the public health sector was cancelled and the number of new COVID-19 cases, registered nationally, stays small, the information on the epidemiological situation will be presented weekly and not daily, as it has been so far.

Green code of alert is recorded in all Moldovan settlements.

At the same time, the incidence was 26 cases for 100,000 residents on 11-17 April, which is one of the lowest in Europe.

As many as 516,986 cases of Covid-19 were registered in Moldova till 22 April. A number of 504,142 people have been treated and 11,489 died because of the complications triggered by the new-type coronavirus.
