Painting contest launched in Moldova

Chisinau, May 10 / MOLDPRES /- The Society for Birds and Nature Protection (SPPN) has launched the second edition of the contest "What is your favorite bird?". Pupils, students and young people aged of 10- 20, eager for painting and wild birds are invited to take part in the competition.

Through the contest, SPPN invites participants to explore and get to know the fauna around them, to cultivate their originality and to train their artistic skills in the field of painting. At  the same time, the company aims to cultivate a talented attitude among nature and the protection of the environment among talented young people.

The work must contain at least one species of wild bird from the Republic of Moldova. The competition is exclusively for one type of art (painting). Sculptures, models or other artistic creations are not accepted, being prerequisite any work technique: watercolor, gouache, pencil, pastel, acrylic, line drawing, point technique, abstract, etc.

“The works must be executed on paper, cardboard or canvas and must not exceed the A4 format. Each participant can submit only one paper. The people who won prizes in the previous edition of this contest cannot participate in that one ", states SPPN.

The works can be submitted until May 22. The judging of the paintings will take place on May 22-31.
