Moldovan parliament appointed new member to Court of Accounts

Chisinau, May 19 / MOLDPRES /- Tatiana Shevciuc has been appointed by Parliament today as a member of the Court of Accounts for a five-year term.
Tatiana Șevciuc's candidacy was proposed by the president of the Court of Accounts, being designated the winner of the public competition. Also today, Tatiana Șevciuc took the oath before the body of deputies.
Tatiana Șevciuc holds a PhD in Economics, and is an Associate Professor of Accounting, Auditing and Economic Analysis.
According to the legislation, the members of the Court of Accounts, with the exception of the President, are appointed by the Parliament for a term of five years, at the proposal of the President of the Court of Accounts, on the basis of public competition, with the vote of a majority of elected deputies.
The Court of Accounts shall consist of seven members, including the President and the Vice-President.
