Moldovan boxer qualifies for semifinals of European Boxing Championship

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/ - Boxer Alexandru Paraschiv has ensured for him at least the bronze medal at the European Championship in Yerevan, according the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS).
Paraschiv defeated representatives of Turkey and Poland, at the weight category of 67 kg. In the semifinals, the sportsman from Chisinau will play against a pugilist from Serbia.
For the final, Alexandru Paraschiv will fight against a sportsman from Serbia Vahid Abbasov on 29 May, according to the website www.boxing.md.
