Sculpture of Moldova-Qatar Friendship inaugurated in Doha

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, on a working visit to Doha, has participated in the inauguration of the Sculpture of Friendship between Moldova and the State of Qatar in the Katara Cultural Village. The sculpture is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The PM said that, in the last time, the cooperation between the two countries had witnessed a considerable growth and the sides remained open for the partnership’s development. This fact was also confirmed by the signing of two agreements, which extend the bilateral legal framework.

„The art work inaugurated today symbolizes the friendship between our peoples and states, as well as the intention to boost the bilateral relations even more. We are happy that there is a mutual wish to carry out together as many as possible projects, which will bring real results and benefits to people,’’ Natalia Gavrilita said.

Also today, the prime minister took part in the inauguration of an exhibition of small sculptures by artists from Moldova. The exhibition titled, The picture of the world in metal and stone, is staged in Doha on 12-28 June 2022.
