Children from all over Moldova come to parliament to wish Happy Birthday to writer Spiridon Vangheli

Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/ - About 100 children from all over Moldova have come to parliament to wish Happy Birthday to writer Spiridon Vangheli, on the occasion of his 90th anniversary.
The children prepared poems, drawings and congratulatory messages for writer Spiridon Vangheli. All children were offered a book by the writer. Copies of this book, with the author’s signature, were given for free to the Ion Creanga National Library for Children, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
Among the visitors, there were children from the Raspopeni settlement, Soldanesti district, and Dobrogea settlement, Chisinau municipality, as well as pupils of the special school No 12 for children with hearing problems from Chisinau. All children thanked the writer for his works, which had made their childhood nicer.
In the context of the birthday of writer Spiridon Vangheli, Parliament Speaker visited the Ion Creanga National Library for Children, where more events were organized, dedicated to the writer. ‘’I am sure that the nicest thing we can do for the writer is to read his works and convey them further. And the books by Spiridon Vangheli, pearls of the childhood, are true treasures for more generations,’’ Speaker Igor Grosu said.
Writer Spiridon Vangheli was born in the Grinauti village, north-western Rascani district, on 14 June 1932. His books were translated in over 40 languages and published in 68 countries.
