Yellow Code of dog days forecast in southern Moldova

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has forecast Yellow Code of dog days in southern Moldova for 21 June.

According to meteorologists, the air temperature will increase to +33 Celsius degrees in the southern part of Moldova in the afternoon on 21 June.

In the context, physicians warn especially elderly people, pregnant women, children and patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, allergic people to avoid exposing to sun, to opt for clothes of light colours, preferably made of natural linen, to cover their head and take care of hydration.

According to meteorologists, thunderstorm rains are announced in various regions of Moldova starting from 22 June. As of 24 June, the weather is expected to slightly cool; the air temperatures will decrease to +28 degrees during the day and +17 degrees at night all over the country.
