About people from Moldovan capital benefit from free of charge dental prosthesis

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - About 750 people from Chisinau this year benefited from free of charge dental prosthesis through a programme financed by the Chisinau city hall.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the deputy director of the Municipal Stomatological Centre, Galina Spinu, said that the project’s beneficiaries were: old age pensioners, people with disabilities of the first and second degrees, labour veterans, participants in the Transnistria War, Afghanistan War and people subjected to repressions. ‘’To benefit from dental prosthesis, it is necessary that the person has residence in the Chisinau municipality and his/her monthly income should not exceed 3,000 lei. At the same time, the procedure can be carried out once in five years,’’ Galina Spinu noted.

To benefit from the service, the concerned person needs to submit an application, with the annexation of confirmatory documents.

In 2022, the Chisinau city hall allocated 4.5 million lei (225,000 euros) for the implementation of the programme, Free of charge dental prosthesis for people from socially disadvantaged groups.
