Dozens of settlements from Moldova to participate in LaLaPlay musical expedition

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ - Over 30 settlements of Moldova will participate in the LaLaPlay musical expedition, held with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on 8-17 July.

On 10 July, the LaLaPlay musical expedition visited the Palanca village, south-eastern Stefan Voda district. Musicians of the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra arrived at more boarding houses on last Sunday and gave an open-air concert on the same day evening.

„This was a concert with solidarity message for both banks of Dniester and for the people from Palanca, the village from the war border, who have helped and got involved in backing refugees from Ukraine since February 2022,’’ UNDP said.

UNDP Moldova joined the sixth issue of the LaLaPlay musical expedition, annually organized by the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra. On 8-17 July, the expedition will cover 30 settlements from Moldova, of which 11 partner settlements of the UNDP Migration and Local Development Project, financed by the government of Switzerland. The 11 settlements are Cioresti, Micleuseni, Vorniceni, Valeni, Slobozia Mare, Manta, Palanca, Sipoteni, Rogojeni, Cobalea and Cotiujenii Mari.
