Batch of products distributed in placement centers for refugees

Chisinau, Aug. 1 /MOLDPRES/- A new batch of food and basic necessities was distributed last week in temporary placement centers for refugees in the north, center and south of the country.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, it is the municipality of Balti and the districts: Drochia, Ștefan Vodă, Orhei, Ialoveni and Râșcani. The goods were distributed from the ministry's warehouse.
Refugee placement centers as well as local public administrations can request goods from the warehouse managed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, where humanitarian aid is stored.
Thus, in order to benefit from food, hygienic and basic necessities (clothes, shoes, blankets, mattresses, etc.), the temporary placement centers, accredited by the National Social Assistance Agency, can request humanitarian aid by filling in the application on UAHELP.MD, at which will be attached the list of products planned for a week, related to the actual number of people staying per day.
At the same time, the local public administration can request food and basic necessities by completing a standard request with the planned list for a week, based on the actual number of people accommodated per day.
Also, economic operators who wish to make donations can call the green line for the management of the flow of refugees at the phone number 080080011.
Currently, over 75 thousand citizens of Ukraine are on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, among them about 40 thousand are children.
