Rainy weather in Moldova

Chisinau, Aug. 1 /MOLDPRES/- The first days of August will be characterized by rains with electrical discharges, according to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS).

According to meteorologists, the first days of the last summer month will be rainy, with temperatures between 25-32 degrees Celsius. At night, the mercury in the thermometers will rise to 18 degrees of heat. At the end of the week, the heat wave will return.

According to the SHS, during this period, there will be an exceptional fire hazard (class V) of a natural nature and the threat of burning forest strips and agricultural crops throughout the country.

In this sense, rescuers and foresters warn that it is possible to set fire to agricultural land, fodder warehouses, areas with forest vegetation, homes and outbuildings.

The month of August, which started today, in the popular calendar is called Gustar, which comes from "gust" and means the taste of the fruits that ripen in this summer month.
