Young people to benefit from cultural vouchers

Chisinau, August 12 /MOLDPRES/- Young people will benefit from cultural vouchers. The promulgation decree and the law amending the Culture Law were published today in the Official Journal.

According to the law, the cultural voucher for young people is a non-transferable digital ticket, with a monetary equivalent, which ensures access to cultural services and products, offered by service providers. For the implementation of this initiative, the Ministry of Culture will develop the action plan and the list of services and cultural goods, which will be offered to young people. At the same time, the organizations that will provide the services will be selected based on a regulation developed by the Government.

The document also provides for the introduction of the legal definition of House of Culture. Later, the Government will draw up a regulation, to establish the normative framework for the creation, activity, form of organization and administration of culture houses.
