Ambassador of Lithuania awarded Order of Honor

Chisinau, August 18 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met today with Ambassador of Lithuania to our country Kestutis Kudzmanas on the occasion of the end of his mandate in Chisinau, the presidential press service has reported.

The head of state emphasized that Lithuania remains an important partner for the Republic of Moldova and expressed her appreciation for the contribution of Ambassador Kudzmanas to the strengthening of bilateral relations between our countries. At the end of the meeting, as a sign of appreciation for supporting the European path of the Republic of Moldova, as well as for the help provided by the Lithuanian authorities in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and in the management of this year's refugee crisis, President Maia Sandu conferred on Ambassador Kestutis Kudzmanas Order of Honor.
