Moldovan president meets UN Secretary General

Chisinau, August 20 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a working meeting with Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres yesterday evening. The high UN official was in Chisinau in continuation of his visit to Ukraine.
The presidential press service has reported that the discussion referred to the humanitarian and security situation in the region, and to the challenges faced by the Republic of Moldova after almost six months of war on its border. The officials also talked about the problems of Ukrainian refugees who are in our country and the need to further support them.
