Revenues from administration of state assets amounted to 175.4 million lei in first semester

Chisinau, August 25 /MOLDPRES/- Revenues from the administration of state-owned assets under the management of the Public Property Agency (APP) amounted to about 175.4 million lei (over 8.7 million euros) in the first half of the year, the APP said today.

According to the Agency, the largest part, over 156 million lei, represents breakdowns from the net profit of state enterprises and dividends related to the share of the state's participation in joint-stock companies, increasing by over 50 million lei compared to the first semester of 2021.

About 12 million lei are royalties from the concession of assets and land, over 3.3 million lei more than in the same period of the previous year. Another 5.8 million lei came from the lease of publicly owned land.

“The positive trajectory of economic performance results shows that changes in leadership and strategy have real results. We continue to remove corruption and deficiencies in the administration of public property assets to increase the financial benefit in the interest of the state", APP director Eugeniu Cozonac said.
