MPs paid tribute to Romanian language

Chisinau, Aug. 31 /MOLDPRES/- On Romanian Language Day, Speaker Igor Grosu together with other MPs laid flowers at the bust of Mihai Eminescu on Aleea Clasicilor in the Ștefan cel Mare Public Garden, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

In this context, Grosu praised that after two years, the Bookfest International Book Fair returned to Chisinau. For five days, about 30 publishing houses on both banks of the Prut will offer reading lovers the opportunity to choose from over 30 thousand volumes of books for all ages and preferences. The 2022 edition of Bookfest Chisinau enjoys the High Patronage of President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu and President of Romania Klaus Iohannis.
