Moldovan PM takes knowledge of process of fire wood's distribution in central district

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, at a today’s visit to the territory, went to the forest district from the central Calarasi town, in order to take knowledge of the march of the process of distribution of fire wood to residents, beginning with trees’ cutting and ending with the carriage of wood mass to beneficiaries, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported. 

The director of the State Enterprise for Forestry from Calarasi and of the forest district managed by the enterprise informed the PM that the process of cutting trees was carried out according to the terms established and the wood of tough varieties had been already distributed to mayoralties of the region.  In the context, decision-makers highlighted that there was a good cooperation of the enterprise with the mayoralties and the citizens were informed about the availability of stocks and other logistic details.    

The director signaled also several problems faced in the process of distribution of fire wood, noting that it was necessary to optimize the distribution process, as well as to inform the population from the settlements with a larger number of residents.  

The sides also discussed the measures undertaken by decision-makers from the Moldsilva forestry enterprise, in order to combat the illicit trees’ cutting. In this respect, citizens can use the governmental hotline 080010101, in order to denounce illegal cuttings of wood or other irregularities noticed in the distribution of wood. At the same time, the call centre will provide to people information on the procedure of purchasing wood, including prices, contacts of forestry enterprises and forest districts, as well as the stocks available.   

The State Enterprise for Forestry from Calarasi manages four forest districts and a workshop for wood processing and has about 115 employees.
