About 350 young education specialists to benefit from housing rental compensation

Chisinau, 13 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- This year, about 350 young education specialists will benefit from a monthly compensation of 2,000 lei for rental of living space in Chisinau.

According to the city hall, it aims to support the teaching staff in the municipality. This year, over 70 young specialists were employed in educational institutions in the capital.

At the same time, this year, 35 million lei (about 1.7 million euros) were allocated from the municipal budget for the salary of teachers working in groups with extended hours. Thus, in the capital there are 105 institutions with an extended program: 12 primary schools, 22 gymnasiums and 71 high schools.

Also, this year, over 16 million lei were earmarked from the municipal budget to cover the expenses related to the salary of teachers in special classes.

In the academic year 2022-2023, 150 public and private educational institutions are operating in Chisinau, with 99,220 pupils enrolled.
