Municipal authorities start campaign of sanitation of Chisinau-based education institutions

Chisinau, 19 September /MOLDPRES/ - The municipal authorities` have started a campaign of sanitation of the education institutions from the Moldovan capital. The deputy head of the education, youth and sport general department of the Chisinau city hall, Andrei Pavaloi, made statements to this effect at a today’s operative meeting of the municipal services.    

According to Pavaloi, ‘’leaves will be gathered, trees and bushes will be planted within the action.’’

At the same time, the municipal enterprise, Association of Green Areas’ Management, informed that it intervened for cutting the dry trees from nearby the education institutions of the capital.

„The works of cleaning trees from the immediate neighbourhood of schools and kindergartens began on the eve of the school year. Thus, in the last month, 136 requests on hygienization and cutting of trees nearby the education institutions have been received. Decision-makers have already intervened in 60 locations. The cut trees will be replaced by other ones, within the current planting campaign,’’ reads a press release by the enterprise.  

The municipal authorities urge people who notice dry trees or branches to call the hotline of the enterprise, Association of Green Areas’ Management, 067 88 07 00.
