Chisinau, 21 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- About 30 public institutions in Balti are currently being reconnected to the centralized heating system, following the government's decision. Among them are the buildings of the Hospital, the Blood Transfusion Center, the Court of Appeal, the Prosecutor's Office, the Alecu Russo University, the town hall and others, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
In the case of some institutions, such as the Balti Archives Directorate, individual thermal points are installed, which allow automatic and manual temperature regulation in the building, as well as in each office or floor. Such individual thermal points were also installed in 130 blocks of flats in Balti, with the help of external financing. In three years, 2/3 of the residential sector in the city is to be included in the heating system modernization project, with the transition to the horizontal distribution system.
"Following these reconnections, there is an efficient use of the primary fuel - natural gas. It is much more efficient to burn them in cogeneration, in order to produce thermal energy and electricity simultaneously", acting director of CET Nord from Balti Marian Brânza said.
The government's priority is the efficiency of the energy sector. According to the general director of the Public Property Agency, Eugeniu Cozonac, existing resources must be used in the most efficient way.
