Pre-Vetting Commission to organize hearing of three candidates for CSM member position

Chisinau, Oct. 5 /MOLDPRES/- The independent commission for evaluating the integrity of candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors (Pre-Vetting Commission) will organize on 7 October the first round of public hearings for candidates for the position of member of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM ).

The hearings will be held at the National Institute of Justice, and private people can participate in the hearings by prior notification of the Commission Secretariat.

The commission will organize the public hearings on financial and ethical integrity of the first three candidates for the position of member in the CSM, out of the remaining 24. Thus, Livia Mitrofan, Maria Frunze and Ioana Chironeț will be heard on Friday.

According to the law, hearings take place in public sessions, which are recorded by audio and video means, and the recordings will be placed on the website of the Commission www.vetting.md.
