Moldovan pupils won three medals at Balkan Informatics Olympiad

Chisinau, Oct. 10 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan team won three bronze medals and an honorable mention at the Balkan Informatics Olympiad, held in Bucharest, Romania, on 3-8 October, the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) has reported.
Bronze medalists are Alexandru Andrei, Victor Vorona, pupils of the Orizont Theoretical High School in Chisinau, and Marian Soltan, a pupil of the Aristotel Republican Theoretical High School in Chisinau, and Veaceslav Guzun was awarded an honorable mention, pupil of the Orizont Theoretical High School in Chisinau.
63 pupils from 16 countries participated in the Balkan Informatics Olympiad, the Republic of Moldova being represented by four pupils and two teachers.
