Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with Ambassador of Slovenia to Moldova

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian received on visit Bucharest-based Ambassador of Slovenia to Moldova Lea Stančič, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.    

The officials reviewed the developments marked on the platforms of dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, the governmental priorities in the field of the country’s reintegration policies, as well as foremost subjects which concern Moldova’s authorities (human rights, free movement, Latin-script schools, access to the farmlands from the Dubasari district, etc.).    

Oleg Serebrian emphasized that decision-makers undertook all efforts possible, in order to solve the urgent problems of the residents from both banks of Dniester, maintain a productive and permanent dialogue through the present channels of interaction with Tiraspol and certainly, to get a settlement of the Transnistrian conflict by peaceful and political means, within the internationally recognized borders and the fully reintegrated state Republic of Moldova.

The Moldovan deputy PM noted that the current security context and the regional crisis situations hit very much Moldova and the national authorities were trying to overcome these challenges in cooperation with international partners which help Chisinau.
