Audit team from Norway, United Kingdom comes to Chisinau for documentation

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of the companies Wikborg Rein Advokatfirma AS from Norway and Forensic Risk Alliance & Co of the United Kingdom, nominated by the Public Property Agency (APP) to make the audit of the historical debts of MoldovaGaz company to the Gazprom giant, came to Chisinau on a documentation mission today.

The British and Norwegian experts will study financial documents and the agreements concluded during years by Moldova with the Russian side, including the period till the setting up of MoldovaGaz, in order to understand how the historical debt of the right bank of Dniester for the gas purchased from Russia had been formed, according to APP.

The audit mission will be in Moldova till 21 October. By the end of this year, the two companies are scheduled to deliver a first report, depending on the materials made available.
