Moldovan deputy premier meets Portuguese ambassador

Chisinau, Oct. 20 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration had a meeting with Portugal's Bucharest-based Ambassador to Moldova Teresa Macedo, on a visit to Chisinau, the MAEIE press service has reported.

The officials approached a wide-ranging agenda, including upcoming political consultations, the strengthening of economic relations and Moldova's EU accession.

Also, the official pointed out the need to strengthen the bilateral legal framework for the benefit of citizens of the Republic of Moldova integrated in Portuguese society.
