Moldovan president meets director for Eurasia of International Republican Institute

Chisinau, 25 October /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today met Regional Director for Eurasia of the International Republican Institute (IRI) Stephen B. Nix, on a working visit to Chisinau.
According to the presidential press service, the sides discussed the latest security developments in the region, the political climate in Moldova and the agenda of reforms carried out by the government. The head of state stressed that the reforms were aligned, as priority, to Moldova’s European integration process. President Maia Sandu thanked also for the support provided by IRI for a viable democracy and strengthening of the institutions from Moldova.
