Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - The unemployed day workers will not be removed from the records of the National Employment Agency (ANOFM), if they carry out unqualified occasional activities. A draft decision which adjusts the procedure of registration with status of unemployed and removal of jobless people from records was approved by the cabinet today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

In the context, ANOFM will automatically make the confirmation of the carrying out of the occasional labour as day worker, through an inter-systemic connection with the information system of the National Social Insurances House (CNAS). If the information is absent from the concerned system, the day worker will ask for the confirmation from the beneficiary of services and will submit it to the territorial subdivision for employment in a period of three working days.

The day workers who will not present the aforementioned confirmation and will be removed from records, on grounds that they failed to come to the territorial subdivision during more than 60 days, will be able to submit a repeated application for the assigning of the status of unemployed.

At the same time, to further benefit from the status of jobless person, day workers will observe several conditions valid also for other unemployed people: to monthly come to the territorial subdivision where they are registered, in order to get support to find a job; to participate in interviews with employers, organized by the territorial subdivision or at their own initiative; to participate in employment measures; to accept the respective job, proposed by the territorial subdivision; to inform the territorial subdivision about any change of the conditions for giving the status of unemployed.
