Sixty war veterans from central Moldova district receive distinctions on behalf of Interior Ministry

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 61 war veterans from settlements of the central Ialoveni district, who had participated in combat actions for the defence of Moldova’s territorial integrity and independence, today were awarded the Golden Eagle badge distinction of the Interior Ministry (MAI).
Attending the event, the MAI’ state secretary, Jana Costachi, thanked the veterans for patriotism, devotion, spirit of sacrifice and courage with which they had fought for Moldova’s independence, sovereignty and freedom.
The manifestations of paying homage take place in the context of the implementation of the national programme of actions dedicated to the Gratitude Year.
