Moldovan official has phone conversation with Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, Nov. 19 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu had a telephone conversation with Bogdan Aurescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, the MAEIE press service has reported.
The officials discussed the preparation of the donor conference "Support Platform of the Republic of Moldova", which will take place on November 21 in Paris and is co-chaired by Romania, together with France, the host country of the third meeting, and Germany.
"We coordinated on the cooperation priorities of the Paris meeting, especially those aimed at infrastructure projects, transport and energy security.
In the context of our countries' participation in the Francophonie Summit, we referred to the synchronization of our common positions in the adoption of its final declarations. The attachment to the French language is another close link between Chisinau and Bucharest," said Popescu.
