Igor Talmazan new secretary general of Moldova's government

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the candidacy of Igor Talmazan for the office of government’s secretary general. At the same, the cabinet approved the resignation of Dumitru Udrea.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the new head of the State Chancellery so far has worked as director of the Customs Service. During 2019, Talmazan acted as head of the Control Body of the prime minister and he had earlier held the position of head of the Moldova’s State Ecological Inspectorate and deputy prime minister of environment.

„Mr. Talmazan is a good manager, who knows the processes within the State Chancellery and who will help us continue and speed up the transformations underway,’’ the PM said.
